Former Congressman Ronald Singson is now home after his 18-month jail term in Hong Kong.

The former Ilocos Sur's first district representative was sentenced by the Wan Chai District court in Hong Kong to a jail term for drug possession in July, 2010. In August, 2010, he was granted bail of P12 million after it was determined that the amount of drugs seized from Singson was only 6.7 grams.

He arrived at Laoag International Airport at 4pm with his father Governor Chavit Singson.

Before going back to the Philippines, Singson was interviewed and asked about his plans, he said that for now all he wants is to spend more time with his family.

The Singson's will be holding a press conference soon in Ilocos for Ronald's official statements regarding his jail stay in Hong Kong.
